Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at Lowell General Hospital. The Occupational Health RN is responsible for the onboarding clearance for new staff as well as staff annual compliance testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid and triage work and non-work related injuries to the appropriate providers when indicated.
- Administer vaccinations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Develop and implement effective health and safety programs to prevent workplace injuries.
- Conduct regular health screenings and provide education on wellness and disease prevention.
Requirements:
- Current RN license in Massachusetts.
- BSN degree preferred, BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a RN, with experience in occupational health and vaccination administration.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, worker's compensation, and infectious diseases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
