Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Trinity Health Saint Joseph's Hospital. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in inpatient rehab settings, including hand clinic and pediatric outpatient programs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and interventions to promote patient mobility, strength, and functional ability.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
  • ACLS certification required for ICU, PCU, NICU, Labor and Delivery.
  • BLS certification required for all RN, LPN, PT, OT, Poly, RT positions.
  • PALS certification required for applicable units.
  • Tech Cert Verification - National.
  • Aya HIPAA Required (for Aya employees).
  • State License 1 Verification.
  • NURSYS Verification required for RN, LPN/LVN, AP.
  • NIH Stroke Certification.
  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam.
  • Competency Exam.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Newer graduates considered.
  • 26-week assignment negotiable.
  • Experience in acute care settings, including inpatient rehab and hand clinic or pediatric outpatient programs.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including PRN shifts as dictated by census.
  • Prefer Tuesday-Saturday schedule.
