Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CT Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic imaging and excellent patient care skills.
Responsibilities- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
- Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
- Set controls on CT equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed.
- Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast media as required.
- Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
- Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures.
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and label them appropriately.
- Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
- Charge procedures and supplies used to patient records.
- Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
- Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
- Eighteen months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
- Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
- Most states require licensure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Weekly pay and direct deposit.
