Crisis Response Psychiatric Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Crisis Response Psychiatric Technician to join our team. In this role, you will respond to mental health crises in the community, providing timely support and care coordination. The ideal candidate will be licensed as a Psychiatric Technician in the State of California and have experience working in DMH settings.
Salary Information: This is a hourly position with a starting rate of $32.69 per hour. With a night differential of $2.00 per hour, your total compensation for Friday to Sunday shifts would be approximately $34.69 per hour. We offer competitive pay and opportunities for professional growth.
About the Job:
Job SummarySycamores is partnering with the 988 mental health crisis hotline to provide support to people experiencing a mental health crisis. Our Mobile Crisis Outreach Teams respond 24/7, 365 days a year, broken down by flexible shifts. As a member of our team, you will respond in person to provide timely support including crisis stabilization, safety planning, assessment for danger to self/others, and gravely disabled write51/50 holds as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person support to individuals experiencing mental health crises.
- Collaborate with a Peer Support Specialist to coordinate care and develop safety plans.
- Work closely with law enforcement, hospitals, and other community resources to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Psychiatric Technician in the State of California.
- 2+ years of experience in DMH settings preferred.
- Valid California Driver License and a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier.
- Able to physically manage and de-escalate consumers/residents.
