Archaeological Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Archaeological Specialist to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our environmental services group, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients and projects across the western United States.
Key Responsibilities- Assist staff with report submittals and coordinate cultural resources fieldwork for various programs and clients.
- Conduct archaeological surveys, testing, and data recovery methods.
- Provide well-reasoned recommendations on site eligibility and integrity.
- Collaborate with GIS staff, PIs, or project managers to collect and manage field data and forms.
- Participate in Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Policies, Procedures, Standards, and Guidelines.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Archaeology or a related field.
- Experience in California preferred, but not required.
- Ability to travel and conduct field work for extended periods of time.
- Good driving record and valid driver's license required.
