Position: Financial Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of, and adheres to, GAAP, SEC guidelines, and relevant organizational policies and procedures.
  • Leads special initiatives, including the investigation, analysis, and reporting of matters impacting the organization, offering recommendations for resolutions, and ensuring follow-through.
  • Offers mentorship and direction to fellow team members.
  • Ensures the accuracy of corporate financial information through the establishment of effective internal controls.
  • Generates financial statements that comply with GAAP, delivered promptly to accurately represent the company's financial position.
  • Independently compiles schedules and journal entries. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience is required. Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, MBA, or a Master's in Accounting are highly desirable.
