As a vital part of our retail environment, Store Operations Team Members engage in a variety of essential functions that contribute to the smooth running of the store.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting shoppers to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Efficiently manage point-of-sale systems to ensure accurate transactions.
  • Encourage participation in our customer loyalty initiatives, including sign-ups and reward processing.
  • Assist in the freight flow process, which encompasses unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, and maintaining merchandise presentation.
  • Support operations in specific departments, including furniture, by helping with carry-outs and display setups.
  • Uphold the cleanliness and visual appeal of the store’s interior and exterior, performing light maintenance and cleaning tasks as needed.
  • Conduct daily maintenance at the front end, ensuring cleanliness of check stands, replenishing merchandise, and maintaining floor safety.
  • Complete additional tasks as directed by Store Leadership, such as retrieving shopping carts and participating in shrink control measures.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum age requirement of 16 years.
  • Demonstrated customer service and communication skills are essential.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior experience in retail is advantageous.
  • Experience with cash register operations is preferred.
  • Physical capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, as well as perform tasks that require walking, standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
  • Basic proficiency in English literacy and math skills is required.
