Job Summary:

The Retail Sales Associate plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. Under the guidance of the Team Leader Coach (TLC) and/or Assistant Team Leader (ATL), this position involves maintaining a well-organized sales floor and managing inventory effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, ensuring their satisfaction throughout their shopping journey.
  2. Follow the guiding principles of the organization to foster a positive shopping environment.
  3. Achieve and surpass production goals by maintaining accurate inventory counts and ensuring a steady flow of merchandise.
  4. Organize and display apparel, accessories, and other items on the sales floor, rotating stock as necessary.
  5. Keep the sales area and inventory organized and visually appealing to enhance customer engagement.
  6. Ensure dressing rooms are tidy and free from debris, and manage hangers efficiently.
  7. Comply with all organizational policies and safety practices, promptly reporting any hazards.
  8. Notify management of any theft incidents, whether internal or external.
  9. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the TLC and/or ATL.

Production Goals:

The Retail Sales Associate is expected to maintain accurate counts and consistently meet production targets.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, with frequent bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Working Environment:

Exposure to varying temperatures is expected.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and customers.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Communicate effectively and provide constructive feedback.
  • Participate in training sessions as directed by the TLC and/or ATL.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, along with basic math proficiency.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
