Job Summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a reputable healthcare facility in Lee, MA to fill a Registered Nurse (RN) position on a full-time basis.

Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient health status and provide feedback to motivate behavior change to reduce health risks.
  • Identify and prioritize actions based on patient care requirements.
  • Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and healthcare policies.
  • Provide a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic patient environment.
  • Initiate patient and family education when appropriate.
  • Document patient responses to nursing care and other interventions as well as follow-up recommendations.
  • Monitor the safety and effectiveness of the environment and equipment.
  • Adhere to universal precautions and protocols for reporting adverse reactions, incidents, and injuries.
  • Administer vaccines or medications per site protocols.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
  • One year experience as a nurse in a healthcare or immunization setting preferred.
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
  • Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable.
  • Current CPR certification if applicable.
  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable.
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
  • Meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site.
  • Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
