Cath Lab Technologist Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Hudson, Florida.

Job Responsibilities

The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting with procedures in the catheterization laboratory. This includes:

  • Communicating and collaborating with physicians and other health team members
  • Providing and coordinating patient care with other health team members
  • Monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes
  • Administering medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
  • Sharing on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transporting patients as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Cath Lab Technologist should have:

  • One to three years of experience as a Technician
  • Other certifications may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions
  • PC skills
