Position: Cafeteria Line Server

We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to fill the role of Cafeteria Line Server at our dining facility.

Part-Time shifts available (including split shifts on weekends)

As a Cafeteria Line Server, your primary responsibilities will include engaging with guests in a friendly manner, assisting in food preparation and service at the cafeteria station, and supporting food running tasks. We value initiative and expect our team members to take ownership of their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare menu items and accommodate guest requests.
  • Serve food to patrons with a welcoming attitude.
  • Restock food and beverage displays as needed.
  • Address guest inquiries and assist with their needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
  • Engage with guests through friendly conversation.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitation duties as required.

Essential Competencies:

  • Guest Engagement: Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
  • Work Efficiency: Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail while maintaining a high volume of work.
  • Team Collaboration: Exhibit a positive attitude and reliability while working with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Professional Conduct: Maintain professionalism and adhere to uniform standards.
  • Punctuality: Communicate any scheduling changes promptly and adhere to work schedules.
  • Safety Awareness: Prioritize safety for both guests and co-workers by following established safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Positive and friendly demeanor.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and move items weighing over 20 pounds.
  • Experience in customer service and hospitality is preferred.
  • Proficiency in languages other than English is an advantage.
