Position:
Facility Maintenance Specialist

Location:
Macon GA (Onsite)

Contract Duration: 6+ Months (Potential for Extension)

Part-Time Schedule
Responsible for overseeing daily operations and upkeep of various facilities including administrative offices, retail spaces, warehouses, and centers of excellence.
May provide support in areas such as building security, energy efficiency, reception duties, mailroom management, and procurement of office equipment and furnishings.
Supervises the implementation of new facility plans and renovations.

Conducts basic electrical tasks, preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, minor plumbing repairs, office furniture maintenance/cleaning, and basic carpentry work while performing routine inspections of these systems.

Engages in special projects such as office layout modifications, furniture assembly/disassembly, door repairs, light bulb changes, and the installation of bulletin boards, whiteboards, televisions, and artwork.



Qualifications
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required; a minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities management is preferred.

Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel. Ability to effectively organize and prioritize daily tasks; must be receptive to guidance and able to follow instructions.


Certification Requirements
Must hold a forklift operator's certification.
Preferred qualifications include certification in operating lifting machinery. Experience in the telecommunications sector is advantageous.
Familiarity with operating commercial chillers, cooling towers, boilers, variable frequency drives, and pumps is essential.
Experience with automated Building Management Systems, including central plant operations, HVAC controls, and automated lighting systems is also beneficial.
