Job Summary:

As a Preschool Learning Specialist, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that fosters the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of our young students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a literacy-based curriculum that is structured yet flexible, allowing for creativity and intentional instructional decisions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to build relationships with families, school administration, and the community.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy learning environment that promotes physical activity and well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to share student progress and involve them in the educational process.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
  • Two to three years of experience working with children, preferably in a preschool setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build strong relationships with families and colleagues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in early childhood education.
