Job Title: Operating Room Tech / Surgical Technician

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Operating Room Tech / Surgical Technician to join our team for a travel assignment in New Mexico.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Operating Room Tech / Surgical Technician to work in a fast-paced hospital setting. As an Operating Room Tech / Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures
  • Maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures
  • Transport patients to and from the operating room
  • Assist with post-operative care
Requirements:
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
  • BLS Certification
  • Trauma Experience preferred, not required
  • Travel experience preferred, not required
