UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is seeking qualified candidates for 13-week travel contracts for a Radiologic Technologist position.

Position Details:
Compensation: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Health Insurance coverage available starting the first of the month after 30 days of employment.
Work Schedule: Day/Eve shifts with weekend and off-shift call rotation.
Eligibility: Candidates must reside at least 25 miles outside the designated radius.

Qualifications:

Education: Completion of an AMA approved 2-year Radiology Technology program or an Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology.

Licensure: Must possess a valid New York State license.

Certifications: ARRT certification is required.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform technical and interventional radiographic tasks, demonstrating advanced skills, judgment, and comprehensive knowledge of radiologic technology principles and methods. Conduct diagnostic radiographic interventional studies as needed. Collaborate with radiologists to execute radiographic procedures that do not require supervision. Carry out specialized radiographic procedures, including angiograms, biopsies, and other interventional examinations. Ensure quality assurance and efficient patient flow during special procedures as necessary. Adhere to infection control protocols in accordance with universal precautions. The Special Procedures Technician must be adept at providing diagnostic radiographic services to patients across all age groups, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
