Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Orthopedic Centers of Colorado. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical staff in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Enter patient information, lab results, and other relevant data into electronic medical records with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist physicians with procedures, monitor patients in recovery areas, and provide basic wound care.
  • Coordinate patient care with other team members, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Respond to patient and physician inquiries, providing timely and effective support.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring a safe working space.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, sending reminders, and preparing patient paperwork.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting certification or degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and data.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional overtime.
