Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus available*

This is a Full Time position, eligible for benefits, scheduled for the day shift.

Position Overview:

The CNA is responsible for providing both direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. This role includes assisting patients with daily living activities, offering personal care, emotional support, and executing more complex clinical tasks under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications and Experience:


• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in the State of Maine


• Active status on the State of Maine CNA registry


• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification within 6 months of hire


• Minimum of 1 year of continuous CNA experience


• High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities:

Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and personal care. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and team members regarding changes in patients' clinical conditions and the needs of their families. Deliver direct and indirect patient care services that address the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care. Provide care that demonstrates initiative and accountability in line with professional standards, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Desired Skills:

Strong organizational and interpersonal communication abilities. Basic proficiency in computer usage. Capability to maintain composure in high-pressure or busy environments. Ensure patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA privacy regulations. Represent the organization positively; foster and promote strong team morale while maintaining effective and professional relationships with colleagues.
