Job Overview

Direct Access Counseling and Supportive Services, LLC is seeking compassionate individuals to provide care and support to seniors in their homes.

About the Job

We are looking for Caregivers who can assist with various tasks to help our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Socialization: Engage with clients in conversations, games, or other activities to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, and other errands.
  • Meal Preparation: Help clients prepare healthy meals and snacks.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Assist with light housekeeping and laundry duties.
  • Bathing, Grooming, and Dressing: Provide assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Toileting and Ambulation: Help clients with toileting needs and assist with mobility and transfers.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Clear ACHA Level 2 Background Screening, Auto Insurance, Negative TB Screening Results or Chest X-Ray (less than 12 months old), Physical/Statement of Good Health (less than 12 months old), Accredited CPR Certification, Alzheimer's Training Certificate, HIV/AIDS Training Certificate, Assistance with Self Medication Certificate.
  • Availability: Day, night, weekday, and weekend hours available. Set your schedule directly with your client.
Compensation

$10-$15 per hour, with opportunities to earn up to $16.00 per hour.
