We are seeking committed Packers to contribute to our operations. This role encompasses various areas including Extrusion, Warehouse, Glass, and Slider. Packers will be tasked with maintaining product quality, handling multiple responsibilities, and upholding safety protocols. This position is entry-level, requiring no prior experience, although familiarity with manufacturing and extrusion processes is advantageous.
Essential Skills- Proficiency in reading a tape measure to the 16th of an inch
- Basic mathematical abilities
- Experience with related machinery
- Capability to read English and conduct quality assessments on products
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
- Strong time management capabilities
- Competence in managing various tasks in a dynamic environment
- Understanding and adherence to safety regulations
This is a Contract-to-Hire role with an initial duration of 3 months leading to potential direct employment.
Work EnvironmentThis position is fully on-site. Candidates may work across different departments based on their preferences and skills. The job is physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods and working in elevated temperatures (85+ degrees in summer). The facility operates six production lines for a range of products, including windows, doors, and frames. While some departments may be more physically intensive, all positions offer comparable compensation unless prior experience in window production is applicable.
