Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine the most effective types of massage for each client's course of treatment
  • Administer specialized therapies, including deep tissue, sports, and lymphatic massage
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Educate clients on self-care strategies and provide guidance on stretching and strengthening techniques

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be excellent at communication and interpersonal relationships
  • Licensure must comply with state and local laws and regulations
  • Must have worked as a massage therapist in a professional setting for at least one year

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep Tissue Massage – Demonstrated skill in deep tissue massage techniques
