ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Principal Flow Assurance Engineer will deliver flow assurance expertise across various oil and gas initiatives. This role requires a solid understanding of flow assurance principles, including the modeling of both steady-state and transient behaviors in multiphase flow systems. Key responsibilities include managing studies related to hydrates, asphaltenes, wax, scale, and corrosion inhibition. A comprehensive understanding of fluid physical properties and the ability to generate and calibrate transport properties against experimental data for accurate predictions is essential.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

We invite candidates who meet the following essential qualifications:
  • Master of Science (PhD preferred) with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Exploration and Production (E&P) sector.
  • Specialization in flow assurance within deepwater subsea environments or both offshore and onshore flow assurance.
  • Experience in research and development related to flow assurance is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 7 years of proficiency with flow assurance modeling tools such as Olga, Pipesim, and PVTSim is required.
  • Familiarity with Pipe2012, Stoner, ScaleChem, and FlowMaster is a plus.
  • Experience in estimating and developing execution plans for flow assurance work scopes is necessary.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial.
  • Ability to independently perform most flow assurance activities with minimal supervision.
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Self-motivated with a focus on team success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to devise innovative solutions.
