About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at SpecialtyRx, a leading Long-Term Care pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process prescriptions using the OnDemand Express III machine with precision and accuracy.
  • Operate and maintain the OnDemand Express III machine to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and manage storage and inventory of medications and supplies to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Rotate stock of medication areas to maintain quality controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepack and package medications for floor bulk prescriptions.
  • Collaborate with the team to support the goals of the pharmacy and ensure seamless operations.
  • Complete any other tasks assigned by the supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensed OH Pharmacy Technician required.
  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Previous data entry experience preferred.
  • Long Term Care pharmacy experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge working with the OnDemand Express III machine is a plus.
  • Previous experience working in an automated environment is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to physically perform light lifting.
