**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Classroom Teacher, Non-Certified Professional to join our team at Arizona Autism Charter Schools, Inc. As a key member of our instructional staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to students with autism and related disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- **Lead Instructional Delivery**: Serve as the lead teacher and point person in a classroom, responsible for implementing instructional strategies and lessons as set forth.
- **Collaborative Teamwork**: Work with a classroom team, including support staff, to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
- **Lesson Planning and Implementation**: Create weekly lesson plans for instruction of state standards, and provide daily feedback to support staff.
- **Data-Driven Instruction**: Participate in regular observations and in-the-moment coaching from campus leadership, and report data with high fidelity and analyze data bi-weekly to make instructional decisions.
- **Communication and Collaboration**: Regularly communicate with parents, colleagues, and professional contacts in a courteous and professional manner, following Arizona Autism Charter Schools, Inc. guidelines.
- **Professional Development**: Participate in all duties and responsibilities as appropriate for an Arizona Autism Charter Schools, Inc. faculty member, and contribute to IEPs as needed.
Requirements
- **Experience**: At least 3 years of experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities.
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree required.
- **Certification**: Enrollment in Arizona Autism Charter Schools, Inc. Teaching Certification program or a college/university certification program are required.
- **Skills and Qualities**: Mastery and enthusiasm for best practices in autism education and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), track record of success in behavior management with students with autism or other special needs, ability to approach situations with optimism and perseverance, and ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- **Benefits**: Competitive pay based on experience, salary range $38,000 to $45,000, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, 401K with company match, and great professional development and advancement opportunities.
Working Conditions
Positions in this class require: stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Work is routinely performed in an indoor and outdoor classroom setting.
