We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receiving Associate at US Electrical Services, Inc.'s Tucker, GA Distribution Center.

The estimated salary for this position is $48,000-$64,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching.

As a Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming shipments of products and materials. This involves inspecting and verifying shipments against purchase orders and packing slips, documenting discrepancies or damaged goods, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities:

  • Receipt and Inspection:
    • Unload and inspect incoming shipments from trucks and containers.
    • Verify the contents of shipments against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
    • Ensure that received products are properly labeled and stored in designated warehouse locations.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while performing receiving tasks.
    • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
    • Comply with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work effectively with other warehouse staff, including shipping and inventory teams.
    • Communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding shipment issues or discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Previous experience in a receiving, warehouse, or logistics role preferred.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification may be required).
    • Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of inventory software.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 75 pounds).
    • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.
    • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
