Capital Caring Health - Night and Weekend RN Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Night and Weekend RN. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes or facilities.

About the Role

This is a full-time position requiring 7 shifts per 2 weeks, with varied hours between 5:00pm-8:00am, including holidays and weekends. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.

As a Night and Weekend RN, you will:

  • Visit patients with emergent, critical needs in a timely manner
  • Arrange for, teach, and supervise nursing care of patients in home care and facility settings in collaboration with other team members
  • Make nursing assessments and use critical thinking skills to provide evidence-based care within your scope of practice
Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • One year of staff nurse experience in a comparable setting/unit
  • A degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Licensure from the governing body of practice for the District of Columbia, State of Maryland, and/or the Commonwealth of Virginia (compact state licensure accepted)
  • Healthcare Provider BLS (CPR) certification
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle during working hours

The ideal candidate will also possess:

  • Hospice and/or palliative care experience
  • A CHPN certification
Compensation and Benefits
