We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Kendall. As a key member of our staff, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients in their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care and Assistance: Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Meal Preparation and Management: Help clients prepare meals and manage medication, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Social and Recreational Activities: Engage clients in social and recreational activities, stimulating mental and physical well-being.
  • Health Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report changes in clients' health and well-being, providing timely support and interventions.
  • Maintaining a Safe Environment: Maintain a safe and clean living environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Experience and Qualifications: Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications and qualifications.
  • Compassionate and Patient Demeanor: Demonstrate a compassionate and patient demeanor, building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration and teamwork.
  • Flexibility and Availability: Be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, adapting to the needs of clients and the organization.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification: Hold certification in CPR and first aid, demonstrating commitment to client safety and well-being.
