This specialized staffing pool is designed to assist nursing units when there is a shortage of staff to meet patient care demands. We offer both full-time and part-time positions, with opportunities for career advancement through our clinical ladder and involvement in hospital committees.

Job Responsibilities:
As a vital member of the patient care team, the RN will provide safe, age-appropriate care and serve as a resource for patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Telemetry experience is required
- A minimum of 2 years of experience across multiple departments
- Basic professional knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field
- Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and ACLS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Certification in NRP for WICU, M/B L&D
- PALS Certification for ED, PACU, PEDS, PICU, & CDCR
Float Pool staff will adhere to a structured schedule, including weekend commitments and holiday shifts. All staff members are eligible for shift incentives after fulfilling their flexible obligations.
