This role involves documenting the surgical process, ensuring the accurate accounting of instruments, and managing specimens. The nurse is dedicated to patient safety and acts as the patient's advocate throughout the procedure.

Collaboration is key, as the nurse will work closely with various team members, including anesthesiologists, surgeons, surgical technologists, and surgical assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage nursing care in the operating room.
  • Document the progress of surgical procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety and advocate for patient needs.
  • Collaborate with surgical team members.

Compensation:
$35.00 per hour

Medical Specialty:
Surgery

Work Environment:
Outpatient settings

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a circulating nurse in the operating room (Required)

Licenses and Certifications:

  • ACLS Certification (Required)
  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) License (Required)

Work Arrangement:
