Job Title: Veterinary Referral Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Veterinary Referral Coordinator to join our team at BluePearl Pet Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule new appointments for assigned specialties, ensuring DVMs have a record of new appointments.
  • Resolve case-related concerns prior to appointment.
  • Maintain assigned specialty service(s) email and follow departmental email triage procedures.
  • Gather pertinent information to ensure client understanding of financial obligations.
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients and potential clients in assigned specialty service(s).
  • Perform post-procedural and post-surgical phone call follow-up with clients.
  • Receive, process, and fill prescription requests, with DVM approval, for assigned specialty services(s).
  • Work with primary DVMs regarding requests and routine questions.
  • Provide primary care DVMs with bloodwork/test results to keep them informed regarding referred clients.
  • Ensure necessary communication regarding treatment is provided timely and documented appropriately.
  • Provide support to clinical staff in order to facilitate the administrative components of clinical referrals for various services.
