About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Mother/Baby team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to new mothers and their newborns.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and their newborns, including triage, assessment, and treatment.
  • Assist in educating mothers and their support persons on all aspects of newborn care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in maternal and newborn care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes excellent patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
  • Previous experience in women's health, preferably in Labor & Delivery, High Risk Perinatal, or similar settings.
