The Interventional Radiologic Technologist II (CIRT) is a certified professional who holds a valid fluoroscopy permit from the state of California. This role encompasses both routine and advanced interventional procedures, including cardiac angiography and various vascular interventions. The technologist is also adept in performing radiographic imaging in the operating room.

The CIRT is expected to possess a blend of technical expertise, radiologic knowledge, and clinical acumen. Under the supervision of the attending physician, the technologist will ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care, adhering to the standards and objectives of the Patient Care Division. Care is tailored to meet the unique physiological and psychosocial needs of each patient.
