Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Elderwood Staffing Solutions. As a CNA, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, including assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and reporting any changes in their condition to the nursing staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as eating, toileting, and transferring
  • Respond to residents' requests and needs in a timely and professional manner
  • Float to at least two of our locations to provide support and coverage as needed
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of New York
  • At least two years of experience as a CNA in a geriatric setting
  • Ability to work well with others and provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
