Event Mixologist

We are seeking skilled and dynamic bartenders to join our team at The Reef, a premier location for special events in Long Beach. This position will be responsible for crafting high-quality cocktails, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the energetic atmosphere during events, parties, and gatherings.

Salary: $20-$25 per hour

Job Description:

• Prepare and serve a diverse range of high-quality cocktails and beverages efficiently during special events.
• Engage guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a memorable experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
• Uphold extensive knowledge of beverage offerings, including wine, spirits, and specialty cocktails.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Demonstrate creativity in designing new cocktails and adapting to special event themes.

• Previous bartending experience in high-volume settings, preferably in events or hospitality.
• Extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, and mixology techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
