Shift Availability:

  • Night Shift: 12/hr, 7pm-7am
  • Day Shift: 12/hr, 7am-7pm

Job Summary:
Assist the press operator in the efficient operation of the printing press.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the operator in achieving production targets.
  • Prepare substrates for the press.
  • Familiarize with the register control system.
  • Understand and adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Operate the press according to established specifications.
  • Accurately complete all necessary documentation, including daily reports and roll tickets.
  • Follow all safety protocols diligently.
  • Prepare print carriages and assemble doctor blades.
  • Actively engage in safety initiatives and report observations.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with one to three months of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Proficiency:
Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operational guidelines, and procedural manuals. Capable of writing routine reports and communicating effectively with groups.

Mathematical Skills:
Proficient in basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.

Reasoning Skills:
Ability to apply common sense to execute detailed written or verbal instructions and to resolve issues involving a limited number of concrete variables in standardized situations.
