With a capacity of 12 beds, including specialized rooms for patients requiring isolation, we ensure a safe and supportive environment for both patients and their families.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implementing the nursing process through thorough assessment, strategic planning, effective implementation, and comprehensive evaluation.
  • Coordinating and delegating nursing care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educating patients and their families while supervising ancillary staff to uphold the highest standards of nursing practice.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid New York State Registered Nurse license.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
  • ACLS certification must be obtained within one year of employment.
  • CCRN certification is preferred.

Educational Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required or a commitment to complete within five years of hire.
  • Certification in a clinical specialty is preferred or willingness to pursue when eligible.
  • Completion of a cardiac arrhythmia course or critical care course within one year of employment.

Experience:

  • A minimum of one year of medical/surgical nursing experience is required.
  • Experience in cardiac monitoring and critical care is preferred.
  • Strong prioritization and planning skills are essential.
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively and maintain excellent communication skills.

Compensation:

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
