Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Nurse to join our team at Inspira Health Network. As a key member of our emergency department, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with medical staff, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments, determine priority of care, and provide immediate interventions as needed.
  • Analyze assessment data, formulate and implement plans of care, and evaluate their effectiveness in collaboration with medical staff.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to provide comprehensive care to patients, adhering to policies and procedures of Inspira Health Network.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in emergency nursing.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with current licensure in the State of New Jersey.
  • Enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing and graduate on or before the second employment anniversary date into a nursing position.
  • BSN or MSN graduates preferred.
  • One-year clinical experience required.
  • Two years ED experience preferred for per diem positions.
Certifications and Licensure
  • Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
  • American Heart Association BLS required.
  • American Heart Association ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
  • American Heart Association PALS required within 6 months of hire.
  • CPI initial for new hires to be completed within the introductory period, and renewal every 18 months.
  • Cardiac dysrhythmia required within 6 months of hire.
  • Critical Care Course within 1 year (or 2 years CC experience or current CEN).
