Assembler - Standard Cabinet

The Standard Products Assembler performs critical assembly operations to produce high-quality components or to assemble those components into an environmental test chamber.
Key Responsibilities- Install piping, coils, distributors, compressors, and valve panels by soldering using various techniques, bending, and cutting.
- Set up and adjust manufacturing equipment and tool sets necessary to assemble product electrical systems per schematics.
- Assemble electrical materials and parts to produce functional electrical systems per manufacturing schematic prints, parts lists, and in accordance with quality requirements.
- Inspect electrical systems produced for conformity to manufacturing schematic prints and departmental quality requirements.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Math proficiency.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of and previous work experience with electrical and refrigeration assembly.
- Previous experience as an Electrical and refrigeration assembler in a similar industry.
- Electrical training or certification.
- High School Diploma or GED.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear.
The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee may occasionally need to work at heights of up to 20 feet.
