Job Title: Shipboard Nurse Specialist

About the Opportunity

As a Shipboard Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to guests and crew on board one of our modern cruise ships. With a strong focus on safety and customer service, this role requires a highly skilled and experienced nurse who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with various medical conditions, including emergency situations
  • Conduct routine facility checks, equipment maintenance, and inventory management
  • Participate in audits and inspections, and contribute to performance reviews and continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate public health records and adhere to infection prevention and control protocols

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse qualification with current registration and a minimum of 3 years' experience in acute medicine settings
  • Valid ALS/ACLS certificate and PALS certification within the first year of employment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (verbal and written)
  • Computer literacy and experience with electronic health records

Salary: $85,000 - $130,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
