About the Role

As a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) at MultiCare Health System, Inc., you will be an integral part of the Physician/Advanced Practice Provider (APP) office team. Working under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner, you will perform safe clinical skills within the scope of practice of the MA-C. Your continuous contact with physicians, APPs, nurses, front office staff, patients, and their families/caregivers will be essential in providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Fulfills patient care responsibilities as assigned, including organizing patient flow, interviewing patients, obtaining vital signs, assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments, performing specimen collection, and administering medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency.
  • Fulfills clerical responsibilities as assigned, including sending and receiving patient medical records, facilitating patient referrals, and preparing forms for patients.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited program for Medical Assistants
  • Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Benefits:
