Job Overview

As a Retail Support professional, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and ensuring seamless store operations. This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires strong leadership and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with opening and closing store procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Support internal and external operations, including front and back-end tasks.
  • Uphold all company policies, standards, and procedures, maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Supervise, train, and develop sales associates, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain individual sales goals and assist in achieving sales growth, sharing sales tactics and strategies with the team.
  • Create fluidity within store departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain awareness of all product information, merchandise promotions, and advertisements, staying up-to-date on the latest market trends.
  • Understand and execute the customer journey, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Communicate merchandise needs, pricing, and product concerns to management, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Accommodate all customers, providing outstanding customer service and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with the creation, revision, and modification of existing and new SOPs, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Assist with unloading shipments and store projects, ensuring timely and effective completion.
  • Process invoices into the POS system, accurately and efficiently managing inventory and merchandise.
  • Troubleshoot daily close-out and shift sales analysis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Assist with data capture, including marketing sources, emails, and loyalty sign-ups, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Anticipate and resolve problems, developing effective approaches and solutions.
  • Respond to requests for information or assistance from upper management, providing timely and accurate support.
  • Prepare and transmit daily bookkeeping, invoicing, and data as required, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Disseminate information equally and completely to upper management, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

  • Ability to substitute for the Operations Team if they are unavailable, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
  • Ability to work alone whenever necessary, with a strong sense of independence and self-motivation.
Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Continually able to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry product, necessary for customer service, inventory restock, and store merchandising.
  • Ability to carry boxes, products, and other necessary store-related items.
  • Ability to regularly perform store maintenance items: sweep, mop, vacuum, empty trash, maintain all areas of business including back stockroom, employee lunchroom, restrooms.
  • Ability to safely lift boxes up to 55 lbs.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders.
Expected Hours of Work
  • This is a full-time position, with open availability required.
  • Weekend, nights, and holidays are expected to be worked, with a typical workday and hours between Monday through Sunday, 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
  • Regularly travel a certain distance from your place of residence to your place of work.
  • Occasional overnight shifts may be required, with schedules subject to change.
