Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Machinist III to join our team at Amtec Solutions Group, a leading manufacturer of Robotic Manufacturing Solutions and Precision CNC Machining Services.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

This is a key position responsible for programming and operating CNC mills and lathes, as well as other common shop equipment, to produce high-precision parts. The ideal candidate will have minimum 2+ years of technical education and 5+ years of work experience in a relevant field, including proficiency in G-Code and CAD/CAM software.

Responsibilities
  • Program, set up, and operate 5-axis CNC Mills, CNC Mill-turns, and other manual machinery.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models to ensure accurate part production.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to ISO9001/AS9100 standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of technical education in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years of work experience in a CNC machining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of G-Code, conversational quick code, and CAD/CAM software.
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision and lead others when necessary.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
