Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Engage and interact with all customers, maintaining a clean and organized store, and role-modeling exceptional customer service.
  • Merchandising and Receiving: Create a positive internal and external customer experience, promote a culture of honesty and integrity, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Team Management: Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, prioritize tasks and activities according to store plan, and monitor productivity of team.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded, and maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area, and ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs.
Requirements
  • Communication and Organization: Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Leadership and Training: Capable of training others, and 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
