Job Title: Resident Engineer

STV is seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to join our Transportation Group in Pennsylvania. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a 5+ CM/CI staff, overseeing project costs, change orders, and scheduling, as well as ensuring safety management and business development.

Responsibilities:
  • Staff supervision and contract administration
  • Managing sub-consultants and project costs
  • Safety management and business development
  • Implementing the Project Work Plan, Health & Safety Plan, Quality Control Plan, and other documents
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with 3+ years on projects $10M or greater
  • Experience on bridge, highway, and railroad construction projects
  • Licensed professional engineer or NICET 4 Highway Construction
  • Possession of combination of PennDOT, PA Turnpike, NJDOT, NJ Turnpike NJ Transit and DPRA experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Construction management software experience (CapEx, Site Manager, ECMS, etc.)
  • Combination of NJSAT, ACI, NECEPT Asphalt, ACI CCTC and Rutgers TCC certifications
