Job Title: Non-CDL Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Non-CDL Driver to join our team at Leonard Aluminum Utility Buildings. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating company-owned vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to deliver our products to customers across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate company-owned vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, checking for safety and maintenance issues.
  • Load and unload trailers and merchandise, ensuring proper securing and handling of cargo.
  • Verify the accuracy of shipments against delivery manifests or invoices.
  • Transport trailers, sheds, and related products to designated customer locations, following established delivery routes and schedules.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including courteous interactions and timely communication of delivery updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery activities.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience with maneuvering trucks with trailers in challenging outdoor environments.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Experience with loading and unloading heavy equipment.
  • Customer Service focus.
  • Ability to think critically and find solutions.
  • Capable of standing, lifting, and handling equipment weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Good driving record.
  • Honest, trustworthy, and dependable.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Occasional overnights.
