Salary and Benefits
This travel medical professional assistant opportunity comes with an estimated salary of $95,000 - 105,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive pay, benefits include Paid Time Off (PTO) after 1560 hours, highly competitive pay, best-in-industry Medical, Dental, and Vision, short-term disability, 401(k), aggressive refer-a-friend bonus program, and reimbursement for licensure and CEU's.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled physical therapy assistant to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Honolulu, HI. As a travel medical professional assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and healthcare professionals, providing top-notch care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience as a physical therapy assistant is preferred, but not required. You must also be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including remaining in a stationary position, moving about, and lifting up to 50-100lbs.
Physical Therapy Assistant Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include communicating and collaborating with physicians and other health team members, providing and coordinating patient care, monitoring patients' responses to interventions, administering medications as ordered, and maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies. You will also be responsible for transporting patients as needed and performing other duties as assigned.
Critical Thinking, Service Excellence, and Interpersonal Skills
In addition to your clinical skills, you will need to possess critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. You must also be able to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use PC skills to complete tasks efficiently.
