Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to provide exceptional care in our Emergency Department. This role requires a dedicated professional who can adapt to varying shifts and patient needs.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and a valid Alaska RN license.
Job Responsibilities
  • Unit Type: Emergency Room (ER)
  • Patient Ratios: 6 Beds with an average census of 10 patients per day.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
  • First-Time Travelers: Welcome to apply.
  • On-Call Requirements: Not required.
  • Weekend Shifts: Required.
  • Floating: Willingness to float within the facility as needed.
  • Block Scheduling: Not available.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours every two weeks, with potential for cancellation of one 12-hour shift.
  • Facility Level: Level IV Trauma Center.
  • Unit Capacity: 4 Beds with an average of 10 deliveries monthly.
Schedule Information
  • Shift Details: 3x12 Variable - Night or Day shifts based on unit requirements.
  • Time Off: Requests will be considered on an individual basis.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours every two weeks, with the possibility of being called off for one shift.
Additional Information
  • Local Candidates: Not accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
  • Previous Employment: Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any Providence facility must have a separation period of at least 3 months before applying as a traveler.
  • Licensing: No pending licenses accepted; candidates must possess a valid license at the time of application.
