About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Manager to collaborate with a hyper-scale data center company. This individual will oversee the general contractors and manage the project through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive scopes and RFPs to ensure project success.
  • Utilize strong knowledge of manufacturing lines, including electrical & mechanical systems, to drive project efficiency.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, RFI's, Change Orders, and other project-related documents.
  • Motivate and develop subcontractor interest in the project(s) to ensure timely completion.
  • Administer the Construction Contract from inception through construction to project closeout.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets to ensure financial stability.
  • Manage and administrate payment application documents to facilitate smooth project progression.
  • Interface with local building department to obtain necessary permits and coordinate project close-out with building and engineering officials.
  • Manage construction scheduling and sequencing, anticipating long lead items and recognizing critical paths.
  • Advise the client regarding the Construction Contract and all related matters of the Project.
  • Verify and validate the General Contractor receipt of OFCI equipment.
  • Monitor and enforce health and safety requirements onsite to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Schedule and conduct Owner, Architect, and CM meetings, preparing and distributing minutes of these meetings.
  • Hold weekly production and/or safety meetings to discuss project progress and address any concerns.
  • Review Jobsite progress with an eye toward quality, conformance to drawings and specifications, etc.
  • Report to senior leadership on all cost schedule risk and quality issues.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
