Position Overview

  • Starting Pay: $22.00/hour (Compensation Range: $22.00/hr - $25.00/hr)

Role Purpose: To provide support for Molding Operations by managing mold repair, maintenance, cleaning, and production setup in the tool room.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee tooling projects from inception to completion
  • Ensure a tidy and organized work environment
  • Diagnose mold issues and perform repair evaluations
  • Assist with mold setup and removal processes
  • Conduct mold maintenance and execute minor repairs
  • Handle the crating and uncrating of molds for shipping
  • Manage mold and parts inventory effectively
  • Document safety inspections on equipment
  • Utilize computer systems for data input and extraction
  • Complete necessary documentation accurately
  • Perform additional tasks as required

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong mechanical aptitude for problem-solving
  • Proven ability to conduct mold maintenance and repairs
  • Experience with a variety of tools and solvents
  • Physical capability to manage mold plates and components
  • Understanding of safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary
