We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Schweitzer Mountain. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, processing reservations, and managing room inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process reservations and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage room inventory, including checking in and checking out guests, and handling any room-related issues.
- Operate the front desk office equipment, including the switchboard, computer, and calculator.
- Collect revenues from room rentals and other purchases, and maintain accurate records.
- Provide security for guests by controlling room keys, verifying cash banks, and making safe cash drops.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous hotel experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Basic computer and math skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
