We are seeking a skilled Delivery Specialist to join our team at Brame Specialty CO. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for efficiently delivering products to our customers via a 26FT box truck, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities- Route Management: Manage delivery routes that include multiple customers and locations, ensuring accurate delivery and placement of products to designated addresses.
- Customer Service: Facilitate the collection of customer returns or new products from vendors as required, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct comprehensive pre/post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle, adhering strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and requirements.
- Logistics Coordination: Participate in efforts to improve quality, and perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Valid Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license and a valid DOT card.
- Commercial Drivers License (CDL): A CDL is preferred, and a hazmat endorsement is a plus.
- Safe Driving Record: Demonstrated ability to drive safely, and proficiency in using navigation tools such as GPS and smartphone apps.
- Communication Skills: Ability to follow delivery routes and instructions diligently, and maintain basic logs and records.
- Professionalism: Consistently professional and courteous, with the ability to pass company background screening, motor vehicle report, and drug testing requirements.
- Physical Demands: Ability to withstand exposure to weather conditions, and ability to sit in a vehicle for at least 6 hours daily.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds daily, and ability to climb stairs, kneel, and bend as needed.
